The famous "Back to my Roots" Festival and "Rom" Dance in August consists of 3-days of tribal dance and traditional lore that is a "must-see" (voted one of the best festivals in Vanuatu).
Also the Magic Festival in July.
These events are mostly only seen by cruisers (30 yachts in 2008), but some tourists and TV crew also come from Port Vila for the occasions.
