Taichung - Transport & Travel

Sep 01, 2014

Driving in Taiwan can be a dangerous occupation, especially so in Taichung. Stop lights are often regarded as a suggestion rather than a legally enforced traffic rule and speed restrictions are generally ignored.

Taichung Station is located on Jianguo Road. A block away, a square serves as a departure point for the various bus companies providing services to many of the towns not served by trains.

Taichung International Airport is the newest, international airport in Taiwan and is about 20 kms (12.4 miles) from Taichung City.
