Leba - Activities, Attractions & Shopping

Sep 01, 2014

Slowinski National Park is on UNESCO's list of world's Biosphere Reserves. It is famous for its spectacular shifting sand dunes where the very fine white sand, which covers a vast area, dances like waves at the slightest breeze. Truly breathtaking scenery. It boasts over 250 bird species. The view from high on the dunes is unforgettable, encompassing both the Baltic Sea and Lake Lebsko, with the dunes between.

Leba is an attractive old fishing town and a very popular health spa and holiday destination. The town has a charming 19th century center where the Fishermen's Church was built in 1683.
