While there is a Customs officer here who deals with Customs & immigration, it tends to be a lucky dip as to whether he is actually there when you arrive. Try phoning him first to let him know you are coming, Tel: 6421155.
However, there is no quarantine clearance here. The nearest quarantine and customs office is in Alotau, a 1.5-hour boat ride away.
The anchorage is a bit tricky with a strong tidal current at springs.
