The airport is at Nadzab, about 40km north of the city. It has flights to Port Moresby, Brisbane and Cairns.
Although hire cars are available, driving yourself is not advisable. The roads are very poor.
The security companies run reasonable shuttles to and from the airport making it a potential stop for a crew change.

Hi Lauri,
I have been in touch with the Yacht Club and they say:
“Minimum depth is 2.5 meters. We currently have 2 sailing boats moored at the marina, but mostly Power boats.”
Do please give us feedback should you visit to confirm depths experienced and any other useful info. for those following in your wake.

The photo doesnt appear to include any sailing vessels. is the harbor deep enough for monohull yachts
Yacht Club manager and staff will assist all cruisers with provisioning through the use of its van and driver for a small fee. All supermarkets. banks etc are very close to the Club, Good free internet in the restaurant and bar.
