Norfolk Island - Transport

There is no public transport but taxis and car hire are available. A current driver's licence is required and the minimum age for renting a car is 21 years. Driving is on the left.  Ask at the Visitor Information Centre for information on the local Uber service.

There are 170km of a road around Norfolk. The speed limit is 40km/h in town, 25km/h in the national park and along the waterfront at Kingston. Everywhere else is 50km/h. Warning - wandering cattle have the right of way.

The airport is located SW of Burnt Pine.

Air New Zealand operates flights from Sydney and Brisbane and Air Chathams operates a weekly flight from Auckland, New Zealand.
