For telephone and fax services, Norfolk Telecom is open Monday to Friday 09:30 am - 10:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday 09:00 am - 12 noon and 3pm-6pm.
There are public phones on both Cascade and Kingston jetties.
A local mobile phone service is available when buying a local sim card. Global roaming is available for some of the larger phone carriers. Internet WiFi cards are available for purchase for use at hot spot areas around the island.
Norfolk Island has its own stamp and postal service. The Post Office is located at P&R Groceries on the corner of Taylor's Road and Ferny Lane is open Monday to Friday. It provides postal and fax services, phone cards and a Philatelic Bureau.
Radio Norfolk broadcasts daily FM89.9 and AM1566.
