Norfolk Telecom is the locally owned and operated telecommunications network, offering LTE mobile services, visitor SIMs or eSIMs. Visitor plans available and mobile or data service can be purchased as required from various resellers on the island, including Customer Care, Norfolk Island Visitors Information Centre, Pawpaws Pump Shed, P&R Groceries and the Trading Post.
The Norfolk Telecom at 9 New Cascade Road is open Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm.
Norfolk Island has its own stamp and postal service. The Post Office is located at P&R Groceries on the corner of Taylor's Road and Ferny Lane is open Monday to Friday. It provides postal and fax services, phone cards and a Philatelic Bureau.
Radio Norfolk is the island’s community radio station, broadcasting in FM 89.9 and AM 1566 bands – having commenced operation back in the 1960s.
