Drinking water is from natural springs and rainwater is all safe to drink anywhere on the island. At most tourist locations there is a faucet for water, but bottled water is also available.

Hospital/Doctors

Niue Fou Public Hospital offers medical and dental treatment. There is a 24-hour on-call emergency service. The hospital also has a pharmacy, dental facilities, Xray, ultrasound and lab technicians. Visitors pay a modest fee for doctors visits and medication. Medivac arrangements for serious medical cases to NZ. Current Medivac flights for Australia or NZ cost approx NZD$100,000.
