Greymouth - Docking

Nov 01, 2015

This is a river port and the entrance is between breakwaters and across a shifting bar, where bad weather can create dangerous conditions. Beacons indicate the entry "leads" or routes, and a flashing blue light at the entrance indicates hazardous conditions.

It is advisable to contact the Port Authority, Harbour Supervisor, before entering.

Greymouth has all the retail, banking and medical facilities required in a regional capital.
