Kawthaung (formally Victoria Point) - Clearance
Foreign vessels need to have a license to sail the area before entering Kawthaung,

Contact the Ministry of Travel & Tours (MTT) on arrival for assistance with checking in. Their office is on the southern end of the waterfront.
Vessels should anchor off the navy and Ferry Pier on the west shore of the harbor. The clearance agent will need to be picked up at the ferry pier with an Immigration officer to complete the paperwork, which is done without fuss in 10 minutes.
Be sure to have US$ cash on board to pay the fees – clean crisp banknotes with no marks. There are no banks or exchange places nearby.
