Pemba - Clearance

May 10, 2018

This is a Port of Entry.

See Noonsite/Mozambique/formalities for full details on clearing into and out of the country.

General Clearance:

Clear in at the Harbour Master's office where the Immigration agent will stamp passports (containing a valid visa) and an entry document issued which will permit cruising the area and clearance to Maputo, with stops on the way.

Harbour Master is in a big building just outside the exit from the port on the left.

It is not necessary for private vessels to visit Customs.

Some Portuguese is an advantage as very little English is spoken by officials.

The total cost of entry is about $225US (2013)
