International dialing code for Madeira is +351.

International telephone calls can be made from anywhere on the island. There are many public telephone booths, which offer a choice of using coins, phone cards and sometimes credit cards.

The mobile phone network also covers the entire island, and it may only be harder to get a signal in the higher areas.

European GSM mobile network will work in Madeira phone. There is good coverage on most of the island. There is no coverage for non-EU mobile phones.

Mail:

All the marinas on Madeira will hold incoming mail for yachts. Remember to always include Portugal on any mail. Stamps can be purchased from Post Offices or from news and souvenir shops.

Internet:

Quinta do Lorde Marina offers free Wifi access, but in other ports there are cafes and restaurants with Wifi nearby.
