Where is Nosy Be?

Nossi (or Nosy) Be is a small island on the west coast of Madagascar, close to its northern tip. It is well known for its beaches.

It extends a warm welcome to visiting yachts. Cruisers continue to be successful in obtaining permits to enter Madagascar at Nosy Be. All followed the procedure as outlined on Noonsite and were welcomed. See Clearance for details.

In the event of an emergency, Channel 16 is monitored in office hours by APMF, and the Navy should be monitoring 24/7. You should be permitted a 24 hour stopover to effect repairs.
