Many cruisers have recommended Max Murray at Hotel Albermarle (very nice hotel on the waterfront near the Port Captain) to be very helpful. Max is British and fluent in Spanish. Can assist with island and procedural information, inter-island money transfers, provide a “ship to” address for boat parts, recommend guides, etc.
