It is possible to anchor in front of the jetty on the waterfront and also off the jetty by the museum in the downtown area.
Further, into the bay, there are pontoons at the yacht club at Joinville and one at the Iate Clube de Capri. The channel to which is quite shallow, care needs to be aken to follow the channel buoys. The approach needs to be made above half tide in most yachts.
