Where is Jolly Harbour?

Jolly Harbour lies on the west coast of the island and is entered via a narrow channel just to the north of Reed’s Point, which is at the northern end of Jolly Harbour Beach.

Jolly Harbour Entrance Notes and Cautions

  • Jolly Harbour has a dredged approach channel with a maximum depth of 4m.
  • This is a very popular marina and boatyard with limited space. Advance reservations are recommended.
  • There is on-going shoreside building work throughout 2025 and into 2026 in Jolly Harbour.

Jolly Harbour Cruiser Highlights

  • Daily Cruiser's VHF Net 08:30 local time.  Open on Channel 68 then switch to Channel 74.
  • The marina staff monitors VHF Channel 68.
  • Jolly Harbour Marina and Boatyard now has an 85 tonne extra-wide travelift to accommodate beams up to 10m, as well as a 75 tonne marine travelift.
  • New sports centre on site at the marina and container food village, opening in time for the start of the 2025/6 season.
