There are now many marinas in Dubai, the majority aimed at the superyacht market.
The Dubai Golf and Yacht Club can only be reached when the bridge over the creek opens. About five kms (three miles) west of the town is the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC). Right in the centre is the Dubai International Marine Club and the Jumeirah Palm development.
