Status: Transit/Open – 14 day quarantine
- It appears to be possible to call into most ports and to re-provision with fuel, water and food, but you will not be allowed to go ashore or enter the country other than visits to port authorities etc.
- In respect to (leisure) vessels arriving from outside UAE, all vessels will be quarantined on an isolated pontoon or at anchor for 2 weeks in Port Rashid. There are no sailing permits being issued at this time.
Description:
Located on the southern coast of the Arabian Gulf, Port Rashid is a man-made, featureless, huge commercial port. For cruise ships it’s considered one of the top 5 luxurious ports to dock at.

Clearance

Yachts should call Dubai Creek Port Control on VHF Channel 16 and ask for directions. The Q flag and UAE courtesy flag must be flown. Clearance is carried out at the main port. Clearance from the last port, crew lists, customs declaration and passports, with valid visas, will be requested.
Docking
The Dubai Golf and Yacht Club can only be reached when the bridge over the creek opens. About five kms (three miles) west of the town is the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC). Right in the centre is the Dubai International Marine Club and the Jumeirah Palm development.
