YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

It is possible to obtain duty free fuel before your departure, but it is advisable to write a letter, send to Customs for approval and then they will send to Pacific Energy. See this report from SV Sugar Shack (April 2025) and their sample Duty Free Fuel letter.
Email to tteaukai@gov.tv at least 24 hours before departure. Keep a copy of the letter to show to fuel station workers. They may not have received it from Customs.
Pump nozzles are reported to be large so it may be wise to fill a drum and then hand pump from the drum to jerry cans . Workers may have to contact Fiji to get the duty-free rate.
Signage for fuel stations may just be a torn piece of cardboard on a shed wall with prices handwritten on it. There will also be a lot of official “No smoking” signs. This is how you know fuel is sold there. There are no other signs. But ask people where to buy fuel and they’ll be able to point the way.

Cruisers who visited in May 2023 bought diesel at a fuel station (about three blocks from the waterfront, in a small blue shed next to a slightly bigger, green building with no obvious signage) for AUD$3.60/litre.
Diesel is also available at MacKenzie Trading Limited (off the main road toward the ocean side near the big blue supermarket) at AUD$2.80/litre (May 2023).
Payment in cash AUD$ only - no credit cards are accepted for fuel purchases. Currency can only be exchanged at the bank.
LPG (gas)
Tanks cannot be refilled here, although steel gas bottle exchanges can be made.
