Turks & Caicos - Money

Dec 16, 2024

The U.S. Dollar (US$) is the only accepted currency in the islands. Exchange foreign currency before you arrive.

The only way to exchange currency is through the local banks.

There is no Bureau de Change at the Providenciales International Airport (PLS).

ATM’s are easily found on Providenciales. Other islands may only have one ATM.

Many local businesses and restaurants accept credit cards.

There are branches for several international banks in the Turks and Caicos Islands, primarily on the main island of Providenciales. Scotia Bank, Royal Bank of Canada, and First Caribbean International Bank maintain local branches.
