YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Marina:
Ocean Marina has a 5.5m high sea wall that is nearly 2km long running around the marina protecting the marina from the swell. This is a full service, state of the art marina with excellent security and boatyard facilities. The staff are very helpful. There is a boatyard 400m from the marina with a travel hoist.
Pattaya city is about 15 minutes by car and whilst there are local shops next to the marina, major shopping & supermarkets are 5 – 10 minutes by car. Local buses pass right in front of the marina.
Koh Chang has two marina facilities to offer on the West and the South side.
Anchoring:
Anchoring off the front of Pattaya is impossible during the day as the area is full of paragliding boats operating. You can arrive late in the afternoon after they have finished, but be prepared to leave very early in the morning.
The further you move towards Naklua the better and then you will be able to anchor during the day. However, you will be exposed to any southerly swell making it a rolly anchorage. Holding is good all along the beach, but be careful you don’t hook up a crab pot or old rice sack.
Just around the corner heading further north, you will find some protection from the southerly roll around from Naklua. Again be careful of crab pots, rice sacks, and the odd crazy fishing boat.
Anchoring around the off-lying islands depends on current restrictions in place, which can change almost daily depending on how the Navy feel. This covers Koh Rin (northernmost), Koh Kham, Koh Khram Noi, Koh Phai, Koh Samaesan and Koh Chan (southernmost).
It’s worth noting that some islands in this region are run by the Thai military as navy bases (Koh Khram Yai). Entry at day time only and a small fee applies.
