Paramaribo - Docking

Mar 03, 2025

By new government rule, all visiting yachts are to proceed up the Suriname River to Domburg.

It is not permitted to anchor near Paramaribo town unless special permission has been granted - and the holding is said to be very poor.

Once cleared into Suriname, yachts can also navigate the Commewijne River, which flows into the Suriname River a short distance upstream of the river entrance.
