The presence of a substantial charter fleet here means a good range of repair facilities are available.
The largest boatyard, Naval Services, merged with Taylor Smith Shipyard in 2018, and Taylor Smith now operate both facilities. Vessels up to 600 tons can be accommodated. There is a 150-ton travelift (suitable for catamarans also, crane and 40 ton trailer, plus plenty of hard standing. Electrical, engine and transmission repair as well as metal work can be carried out here. Cruisers report this is a very organized company (see reports and comments for feedback).
