Description:
The sheltered port of Victoria lies at the northern end of Mahe's east coast. It is the capital of Seychelles and the world's smallest capital city.
Victoria is tidy, clean with friendly locals and the dress code is western and relaxed. The Seychelles Yacht Club with its veranda over the water is a wonderful place to relax with fellow cruisers. Local produce can be found at the open market and there are a range of supermarkets making provisioning easy here.
There are two good boatyards here for hauling out and boat work/storage.
