Helen Reef - Docking

Jun 18, 2016

There is a pass through the reef approximately half way down the western side (see notes above). Only a few parts of the reef are dry at low water.

The rangers can advise on an anchorage with good holding off Helen Island at the northern tip of the lagoon, in approx. 15 meters of water.

The ranger station is located on the eastern side of Helen Island and the caretakers are very friendly and welcome visiting yachts. They will show you around on shore and point out the best snorkeling spots - gifts are appreciated.
