This is NOT a Port of Entry and official clearance into Palau cannot be made here, but the rangers on the island welcome a call from passing yachts.
They can be contacted via VHF radio but with only handheld sets, their range is limited.
Normally they spot boats making their way towards the pass, and come down to help with the entry and navigating through the lagoon.
