The Whangamata Yacht Squadron is very welcoming to visiting sailors. It was established sometime ago by a group of local sailors and caters for a wide range of yachts - including multi-hulls. Operating out of the harbour and marina, the Squadron has the use of facilities in the town where members gather.
Extensive cruising and racing events in summer and winter which are entirely weather and tide dependent.
