The post office is near Opua Wharf, in the General Store; open 0900-1700 Monday to Friday.

There are card-operated public telephones in the marina.

Internet access at the Opua General Store.

Mail can be addressed to- Name, Vessel Name, Opua Post Centre, Opua 0290, Bay of Islands, Northland, New Zealand.

Opua Marina also accepts mail for arriving yachts (see docking for details).

Russell Radio is a voluntary station run by the Bay of Islands Marine Radio Association. Members and non-members alike are always welcome. Their service is free of charge and includes: weather forecasts; E-mails on callers behalf if requested and messages passed to family and friends; plus assistance with clearance. Donations are always welcome, but no boat is ever denied a positive reply.
