Airfreight from any country in the world comes tax-free if the parcel is marked "For a ship in Transit". To check if your parcel has arrived, mostly with DHL via Reunion, make sure to not only look at the list of what material has arrived, posted by the port captain but also contact DHL's office in Pamanzi personally some 4 days after your parcel left your supplier. 4-5 working days seems to be a realistic transit time from i.e. the USA, Europe and Australia.
The proper address should be:-
Name of the skipper, Name of Vessel, c/o Capitanerie du Port Dzaoudzi, BP 20, Pamanzi, Mayotte, French Indian Ocean Territory
