Beware of the many shoals in this area.
Anchorages:
The small bay off the town provides an anchorage on the western side. The best spot is off the old resort. Take care to not anchor in the path of the local ferries, they don't slow down and make quite a wake.
The pontoon at the head of the bay no longer exists and just the concrete footings remain.
Marina:
Marina Pointe Du Bout is situated in the center of the Pointe du Bout hotel complex in the harbor of Fort de France. It provides good shelter. Clearance is possible here.
