Anchorages:

Anchorage: 07 04.993N 72 55.110E (Courtesy SV Tuvalu)

Anchor where ever you want, in around 20 meters with good holding. Don’t go close to the coral reef which is shown on the Navionics Charts.

If the wind is coming from the NW you should anchor off the southeast side of the island.

Usually, the winds are from the E so you are well protected here. Northerly winds can make the anchorage a bit rolly, but never dangerous. With northerly winds, you may experience wind againt tide.  Strange, but not dangerous.

Uligamu anchoring fee is free for the first 15 days and then just less than $4 per day.
