According to the Port de Guyane website "The Grand Port Maritime de la Guyane has put an end to all pleasure craft: the parking and anchoring of pleasure craft is no longer authorized within the port limits from January 1, 2023. The use of the pontoons is exclusively reserved for authorized professional vessels."
However, visiting yachts can anchor up-river near the Ponte de Roura but must still clear-in at the Port Offices. According to recent cruiser reports (February 2023) you will need transport to get to the customs office in the port area. The office is reportedly hard to find - but this is the geo-location on Google Maps: 4.855513,-52.27399.
The port office is open Monday to Friday from 0700 - 1400.
It may be necessary to visit Immigration at the airport to get the passports stamped.
According to local contacts it is possible to carry out clearance formalities either at Dégrad des Cannes or at Saint Laurent du Maroni. It is also possible to do the entry clearance at Dégrad des Cannes and the exit clearance at Saint-Laurent du Maroni (and vice versa).
