YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Electricity:
Electricity is available in most harbours. Electricity cards can be purchased using credit cards at dedicated machines, or you can use this website to purchase electricity: beasapp.com (choose the marina you are staying in). An extra long connection cable is very useful.
Water:
Available at all harbors.
Fuel:
Available on fuel berths in most harbours, except by jerry can at Tvoroyri and Vagur. A special card is needed to operate the pumps at most harbours, except Tórshavn and Klaksvík.
Gas/Propane:
Propane is available, however, the connections may not be suitable for your gas bottle so make sure you arrive with enough gas on board.
Pump Out:
There is a pump-out station in Argir just south of Tórshavn, the capital city, although a holding tank on board is not mandatory.
Marine Supplies:
There are no special facilities for yachts and any marine supplies available are those for fishing boats.
Mooring:
Most harbours have free visitor pontoons, although there will be a charge if you hook up to the electricity.
Haulout and Repairs:
Basic repairs can be carried out using the extensive repair and shipbuilding facilities provided for the fishing fleets.
There is a boatyard and all repairs at Torshavn.
There is also a boatyard at Fuglafjordur. Haulout can be arranged at Tvoroyri.
Navigation:
The RAK tide app is essential as the currents around the Faroe Islands can, at times, be described as extremely dangerous. The app is available for both iPhone and Android and can be downloaded from iTunes and Play store respectively or from the website www.rak.fo
