Vancouver - Transport & Travel

Mar 04, 2023

Vancouver has all the facilities of any big city. The Sky Train is a useful service for getting around the central area. The metro trains serving the outer suburbs generally only operate during the commuter hours (approximately 6 am to 8 am and 4 pm to 6 pm). There are mainline train services to the USA and the rest of Canada.

In addition to the services provided by the main international airport, there are many float plane and helicopter connections to smaller or more remote locations.

The ferries also provide essential connections, both to destinations along the mainland coast and to the islands, including Vancouver Island itself.
