Azores International dialling code: +351

Plus each island has a local code:

Faial: + 351 292

There is a mobile phone network available on all islands and in general coverage is good.

Local SIM cards can be purchased in supermarkets, phone shops and Post Offices.

Public Telephone Calling cards can be purchased from most bars and shops. Phone booths are located all over towns, including in the post offices.

Free WiFi is available throughout most marinas, but the service can be patchy. Many of the local bars/cafes/ town squares/libraries offer free WiFi.

Incoming Mail can be sent to MAYS, Cafe Sport in Horta and many of the larger marinas (check in advance). Stamps can be purchased at news stands and tourist shops where you see the green correio sign. Delivery inwards is slow, but outwards is quick, especially if you send via correio azul (express delivery).
