Description:
Ambergris Cays are located in the sparsely populated southeastern quadrant of the Caicos Bank. The area is full of sea life and is commercially fished for conch, spiny lobster and many varieties of fish. South Caicos fishermen voyage daily to these flats.
Big Ambergris is a private island. The Turks and Caicos Sporting Club are based here.
Landing on the Cay by transient sailors is not permitted.
