Pranburi - Facts

Description:

Pranburi lies on the west side of the Gulf of Thailand, about 150nm southwest of Bankok. It lies at the mouth of the Pran Buri river and it a popular destination for the Thai people. It is well known for its sun-dried squid. A large number whose drying racks are spread out across the town.

The river is bordered by mangrove forests, which are part of the protected Pranburi Forest Park. Within the park is a wooden walkway that allows exploration of the mangroves.
