It’s unlikely fuel will be available and there is a shortage of water in the summer months. Bottled water can be purchased from the general store.
Cooking gas is not available.
Emergency repairs can probably be done – see more info. here.
Marine supplies are not readily available.
No rubbish can be landed on Pitcairn.
There is internet access via an internet cafe in town – see communications.
The island has a good range of basic provisions available. Generally all shops and services are open in the morning on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Saturday is the sabbath.
Visiting vessels wishing to purchase larger quantities of provisions should contact the Provisions Officer [Email: [email protected]]
Pitcairn Islanders are happy to supply, upon request, seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables. Fresh fish and lobster may also be available providing advance notice is given of required quantities.
