Banjul - Provisions & Laundry

Mar 11, 2024

There is reasonable provisioning in Banjul, where there are several supermarkets. Fresh produce is also available.

Bakau is the best market for both fruit and vegetables.

Identifying stores with no signage can be challenging, but if you ask the locals for directions, you will typically found what you need such as mosquito coils or data cards.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are available in markets but you might have to travel a fair way inland to get to them. Ground nuts (peanuts), fish, eggs, and tapalapa bread are available in many shore-side villages.
