Description:

This is a low-lying, sandy island in the Gulf of Riga. The forests have the appearance of a park because the underbrush is collected and used for fuel. This is the only island in Estonia where the integrity of the culture of the native inhabitants has been retained. The local women wear attractive folk costumes as everyday clothes.
