Where is Port Suez?

Port Suez is located at the northern end of the Gulf of Suez and marks the southern end of the Suez Canal. It has been a commercial port since the 7th century although Suez itself was never much more than a village until the present day canal was opened. Today it is one of Egypt’s largest ports.

It should be noted that the Suez Yacht Club is currently out of service due to re-development work. (August 2025)
