Pante Macassar (also known as Pante Makasar) is a small town on the north coast of East Timor, 100NM to the west of Dili, the nation's capital.

It is the capital of the Oecusse exclave (former Oecussi-Ambeno) and its main link with the rest of the country is the twice-weekly ferry from Dili (12 hours away). Locally Pante Macassar is known also as "Oecussi".

Currently, the area is undergoing significant upgrades to its infrastructure. A very welcoming community and an interesting place to visit.
