Normal weekday opening hours for Danish banks are 9.30/10am to 4pm. Banks are closed on Saturday and Sunday. A large number of banks stay open until 5.30pm on Thursdays.

Most shops in Denmark accepts cash, but there is an increase in cash-less shops where it’s only possible to pay by credit card or mobile. You should also note that many kiosks and supermarkets do not accept cash after 8 pm.

Most small shops do not accept international credit cards.
