St Peter Port - Activities, Attractions & Shopping

Apr 18, 2024

St Peter Port is a good base from which to explore the nearby islands of Sark and Herm. Both these islands have plenty of good anchorages in reasonably settled weather and if it turns nasty, St Peter Port is not far away.

Sark also has some yellow mooring buoys at Havre Grosselin and Greve de la Ville.

The most visible attraction is Castle Cornet at the entrance to the harbor, but there is also a folk museum, Guernsey Tapestry, the Victor Hugo Museum, Fort Grey (on the west coast) which houses the Shipwreck Museum and last, but not least, the German Occupation Museum (by the airport).
