Explore: Nova Scotia
General Info
There are a large number of ports in Nova Scotia but few of them have berthing specifically for yachts. Fishing is the major industry here and the docks are geared for their more robust boats. With permission, it is usually possible to raft alongside a fishing boat but, be warned, if it is the fishing season they will be off very, very early.
Where there are yacht pontoons, they are likely to be removed during the winter (mid-October to mid May) as many harbours can ice up during this time.

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.
