Anchoring:
The Imray Pilot guide suggests anchorages along the north side of Varna, but anchoring is prohibited in this area. Anchoring in the harbor, or mooring stern-to with your own anchor, is forbidden.
Marinas:
Visiting yachts can either berth at the Varna Yacht Club or LZ Yacht Marina.
The approach to the Yacht Club is straightforward by leaving the large outer breakwater to starboard on entry.
LZ Yacht Marina is located next to Port Varna’s Passenger Terminal near the city center. This is a floating wooden pier with a "T" head that can accommodate up to 30 yachts.
