Where is Bridgetown?

Bridgetown is the capital of Barbados and lies on the island's southwest corner.

Entrance Notes and Cautions

If arriving at night be aware that there are many unlit small and big mooring buoys in the water near the Carlisle Shore/beach.

On approach call "Signal Station Bridgetown" on VHF Channel 12 and inform the Radio Operator of your intention. You will likely be told to standby and wait for instructions. There is a great deal of cruise ship movement in this port, and might has right, so you may need to be a little pushy to get into harbor. You will need to give your dimensions, flag of origin and number of crew.

Position:

13° 05.35'N, 059° 36.83'W (anchorage - Castle bay)
