Attached as a pdf is some anchoring information on Western Sumatra. This route is not often taken by yachts but can be done. The anchorages are listed as we sailed from N to S along the coast of Sumatra. We encountered mostly calm weather, but sudden thunderstorms were frequent as in many parts of Indonesia.
