We recently sailed to Belitung in Indonesia.
As we arrived we noticed our heat exchanger had given up, what better place to break down than Belitung!
The locals were extremely friendly and helpful. We found a shop where we could get a new heat exchanger. Nothing was a problem. We also needed a new hydraulic hose which they had no problem making for us. Harun speaks English and if you give him a call or email he will be more than happy to help you out, not only with engine troubles, fabricating new parts but also with the attractions and colourful, interesting history of beautiful Belitung.
