Korsor - Facts

Description:

Port of Korsor is the commercial harbour of Slagelse Municipality – centrally placed in the heart of Denmark. The port is not only easy to locate, but easy to maneuver with the Great Belt bridge placed conveniently at the entrance.

The harbor consists of Yderhavn and Fiskerihavn, the actual harbor that includes Gamle Havn W for Halsskovbroen and Inderhavn E for this. Furthermore, Naval Harbor, which is reserved for the Navy's ships.Yderhavn is used by Fleet Station Korsør and is outside public access.

On the S-side of the inlet is an approx. 250 m long detached breakwater.
On the N-side of the inlet there is an approx. 400 m long breakwater. The run between the breakwaters is approx. 150 m wide.
